George Assadourian was born in Syria.As a young boy, he watched his father work in his bakery and learned the trade of making traditional Syrian baked goods.His father passed away and George was able to continue running the family bakery while helping his mother raise his brother and sisters.George decided to immigrate to America when he was young man and worked in bakeries in NEW YORK and NEW JERSEY area.George worked long and hard hours so that one day he could achieve his dream of owning a bakery in America,just like his father did in Syria.George met a beautiful woman named Araxi who supported his dream of owning a bakery.They married and had two sons Steve and Michael.After many years of saving money and working long hours,George was able to open his own bakery in Fairview, New Jersey.He named the business GEORGE E. ASSADOURIAN,INC D/B/A MIDDLE EAST LAHMAJUN.George used the skills his father taught him to perfect the Lahmajun using just the right amount of seasonings,tomatoes,and meat.HisSyrian style lahmajun's was in high demand and he decided to have the United States Department of Agriculture inspect his bakery so that he could sell lahmajun's wholesale.He passed inspection and was allowed to ship his lahmajun's to any state in the United States Of America.
His two sons, Steve and Michael,were now old enough to work in the family bakery.they learned the skills that their grandfather taught their father about making high quality Syrian baked goods.
Now the two sons Steve and Michael run the GEORGE E. ASSADOURIAN,INC. D/B/A/ MIDDLE EAST LAHMAJUN.
